“ We visit Kirkby lonsdale quite often so today after calling at the brilliant Dale's butchers we decided to pop into No 44. We decided on two breakfast buns and a pot of tea which were served by a very nice young lady. The food and service was excellent and everything was spotlessly clean. Well done to all at No 44. “ First time here. Very impressed with service, menu, cleanliness, staff and food was top notch. Really beautifully presented. Quality ingredients. Gorgeous coffee and THE BEST SCONES I'VE EVER HAD! Served warm and highly recommended. Busy place. Obviously very popular. The ladies loo is really clean and has a basket of things a lady might need (sanitary towels, deodorant etc) for you to use which is it great touch! You are sat very close to the next tables either side which I'm not overly fond of but loved our lunch and we would definitely go again. Can't wait. 5 ”

“ Today we visited number 44 towards the end of the day. It was reasonably quiet and a lovely atmosphere the layout and the decor is really nice and fresh. The service was great and the lady who owns it actually sat for a few minutes on the next table us and was having a conversation about the updates to the decor and how it was family run, she was great and involved my children in the conversation. The food was 10/10 the kids really enjoyed it, the children's meals are a really good size and I wouldn't say they were small kids meals. The chips were like the chips you used to get when you were a kid big and homecooked. The halloumi fries were amazing and homemade sausage roll is definitely worth ordering, you won't be disappointed. We were too full for pudding but they looked amazing, so next visit is tea and cake. I loved the little touches in the bathroom, feminine hygiene products and nice hands soap and moisturiser. Great place to visit of your going to Kirkby Lonsdale or even just passing. ”
